***The Start Of A New Year***

I have heard the old saying, "What you are doing at the start of a new year is what you will be doing all year." Needless to say, housework was not on my agenda. Laundry was out of the question. Any type of housework was not even considered. What did I do? I grabbed my camera, alien bee with beauty dish, 100mm macro lens and some fun New Years Eve must haves! True that these images were shot on the eve of 2012. My friend said, "That does not count." I beg to differ. 2011 was going out with a big bang and 2012 has ROCKED ever since!!
