On Sunday June 10th, I attended a networking / meet up event. I cannot remember the last time I was able to do so. I suppose that is a great statement! I attended the event with a friend that I have brought on board to assist me on events. She really wanted to go. I agreed and I am so happy that I did. Many people have asked if I can shoot on a farm and include their horses! "Oh course I can!"I reply. There were no opportunities in Chicago for a session with a horse so, I didn't have proof in my portfolio! Now I do! The plan was to help Trisha with lighting and camera settings BUT... she was like a kid in a candy store and went off on her merry way! It was pretty cool to witness her excitement! With that: Here are a few of the images I created Sunday in Placerville. These were captured with one light. I used my
1600 Alien Bee with beauty dish, vagabond battery and a
cyber sync. Product names in red are direct links to my gear!

Image above is straight out of the camera.

Image above has a vintage type of edit applied in photoshop. The possibilities are endless with digital! I do prefer "real, straight out the camera images with complexion retouching if needed.
