***Hostess - American Icon*** we bid you adieu

Where were you when you heard the news? I was on my way to Half Moon Bay. All I could think about when I heard the announcement on the radio was lunch time in elementary school. I remember how my brown paper bag was often ransacked for the hostess sweets inside. Yes my Grandmother made my lunches and ALWAYS spoiled me;-) Hostess ding dongs, twinkies, hoho's... I inhaled every single one in a few bites when they were not pinched from my bag. My Nana kept a full kitchen cupboard. What was missing at school was usually consumed after at her dining table. Those were the days! Naturally, I had to get my hands on a box. I was able to find this one in Belmont. It was the second to the last on the shelves. When I asked someone at Safeway where I could find the hostess products, they seriously laughed at me. I had no idea until they joked and said, "Check ebay!" I did and was stunned! Want a laugh? Check ebay too! The thing of it is... people are selling the products there. Found a box for $7,300! I hope that seller donates the money (if sold) to a now out of work employee!! Wow!!!! Is this what society is coming to??? I feel for the employees and I pray that a company will buy hostess! 18,500 people without a job! It just breaks my heart!!!
