***Pets Are People Too***

Introducing Twinkie! This little doll will be 3 in June.  Her birthday adoption date is June 4th, 2011 to be exact! She was adopted from Halo sponsored by Maddie's Fund! The adoption was "free." Dave Duffield is the founder of Maddie's Fund and was also the founder of PeopleSoft and Workday. Once a year he sponsors free adoptions through the local rescue groups in memory of his dog Maddie. For every adoption Dave makes a donation to those rescue groups. My Mother adopted Twinkie at Petsmart in Antioch, California. Her little joy was waiting for her and they were a perfect match.  My Mother had been hoping for and wanting a companion dog.  This 'lil dog does not know that she is canine.  She is very well trained! If you ask her, "Where is your toy or ball?", she knows exactly the difference and will fetch the item and bring it to you to play! This cutie is remarkable and I call her my "little sister that I never had!" She is such a star! She poses like a "top model" and LOVES the camera! With that, here are her images and slide show!
